Mission
Responsible
for the implementation and enforcement of administrative and inspection
rules for fire safety, explosives, hazardous materials and
fireworks enforcement as set forth by the Michigan State Fire Safety
Board.
Profile
The
Highland Twp Fire Dept inspects every Business in the Twp on an annual
basis. This is to ensure the safety of everyone from Employees to
customers, also to ensure that the Business is operating in accordance
with the Michigan Fire Prevention Code PA 207.
Information
Products/Services
The
Fire Dept does not inspect private residents unless a homeowners
request it. Should a homeowner would like the Fire Dept to come to
there home and perform a safety inspection, we will do this at no
charge to the homeowner. Please allow at least one week from the time
you request the inspection.
