| Please be advised that Oakland County Emergency Management will be testing the outdoor warning siren system on the following dates in 2008: | ||

| Note: Siren tests are not conducted during December, January, or February due to winter weather. | ||
| Time
to sound the sirens and check their operational status prior to the
arrival
of the severe weather season.
The tests consists of a three (3) minute steady siren tone. To determine if the sirens are operating properly, we need your assistance in monitoring and reporting the status of all sirens in your jurisdiction. If you are unable to monitor any sites, please call us one week prior to the test. Please call this office at (248) 858-5300, immediately following each test. Your support and active participation in this process will ensure that the malfunctioning siren(s) are reported for repair. Thank you for your support and assistance.
